Hayman Island


Three days. 130 pieces of content. Two slipped discs.

When it comes to locations, it doesn’t get much better than Australia’s most iconic private island resort. Intercontinental Hayman Island engaged crybaby to ideate, produce, and direct an extensive social media content campaign as part of the destination’s relaunch after extensive renovations. It was a dream job with a side dish of reality: the resort was still a building site at shoot time and they could only accommodate a skeleton crew and just two talent. Which meant more equipment than people to carry it.

Three solid days of shooting had us hiking all over the island to showcase the natural beauty of the location, the slick new architectural design, along with detail stills of the interiors, guest suites, and even signature dishes from the resort’s restaurants. We flew back home to the edit suite with all they needed and more. [And one of us got to see a lot more of her chiropractor but time literally heals all wounds, right?]

You know you’ve done a good job when your client asks to extend the content usage. Hayman Island are still using our hero campaign image, three years later.
